Marine and coastal sport, recreation and tourism survey – take part now!

As a starting point for developing the draft policy for sport, recreation and tourism, the CMPP is carrying out a survey for anyone who uses the marine and coastal environment for sport and recreation or if you are involved in marine tourism related activities. This includes businesses, organisations and users of the marine environment. We would like to hear your views on what are, from your perspective, the main issues, opportunities and priorities for sport, recreation and tourism in the Clyde.

The survey findings will be used to help draft new policy for a pre-consultation draft of the Clyde Regional Marine Plan. The pre-consultation draft plan will be consulted on later in the year – this will be an opportunity for all stakeholders to see how the plan is developing and respond to the draft plan. To read more about the plan development process, take a look at the Statement of Public Participation.

We hope you will take this opportunity to complete the survey and input into this early stage of policy development for sport, recreation and tourism in the Clyde Marine Region.

If you would like to keep up to date with the development of the plan, please sign-up to the CMPP e-newsletter via our website:, or on Twitter – @clydemarineplan – If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
