SEPA Aquaculture sector plan consultation launched – Includes public events

SEPA have recently released a new draft sector plan for the Aquaculture sector. The draft plan outlines enhanced standards for organic waste and a strengthened approach for licensing medicines. The plan also details strengthened monitoring and assessment processes and a more comprehensive approach to ensuring fish farm operators comply with all these requirements.

There will also be some community drop in sessions to find out more abut the process. Events taking place in the Clyde Marine Region include:

  • Lochgilphead – Lochgilphead Community Education Centre, 2.30pm – 7.00pm
